Blood pressure monitor
This wrist blood pressure monitor automatically measures a patient's blood pressure while they sleep. High blood pressure during sleep can significantly increase the risk of heart attack and stroke. Traditionally it was only possible to take measurements by wearing an upper arm blood pressure monitor for 24 hours at a hospital. A wrist measurement system was developed for minimal restriction and easy nightly blood pressure monitoring at home. It conforms to the wrist, minimizing stress and enhancing comfort when worn. The design ensures that it does not move around while sleeping, contributing to improved measurement precision.
