One box, one chair
Chair
Art Institute of Chicago Design Object
One box, one chair is a design about reusing boxes used for moving and get disposed. Without deconstruction of boxs original structure, a box can be transform into a chair by pushing one corner of the box in to the arch shape of existing folding lines. Since the original structure of a box is maintained, users can easily convert a chair back in to a box when necessary. For instance, a student can use a box as a chair when she is living in a dorm and use it as a container when she is moving out.
