High content screening system

The Operetta™ by Perkin Elmer is a very compact “high content screening system” for scientific cell analysis in the lab or agent research. A backlit glass panel functions as a combination of work and interaction surface and enables visibility of the device status from a distance as well as the integration of touch-sensitive controls (“apparatus as interface”). All internal components are directly accessible; an evident workflow in full detail stands for the major goal of the design.
