The online game League of Legends (LoL) skyrocketed to one of the world's most popular games since its release and continues to command a huge audience. This special edition packaging for an OPPO mobile phone draws from the game's vivid user interface and graphics as design elements for the box and inner elements. The packaging is inspired by the game's "Hextech Chest." Unboxing is an immersive experience for the user, with the phone actually popping out of an inner black box when the outer box is removed, a reference to the inhibitor rising up at the beginning of the game.
