This learning facility aimed primarily at school children seeks to deepen their understanding of, and interest in, sewerage systems and treatment facilities by providing them with a rare look inside this important infrastructure which is indispensable for keeping our daily life sanitary and safe. One hurdle to getting people interested in sewerage is its unclean image. Thus, the first thing visitors encounter is imagery of pure, clean water to contrast the blackness of wastewater with the whiteness of purified water, thereby imparting a beauty to the world of sewerage as visitors learn about its significance and the roles it plays.
