Curtain rod
outlook 4 is a symbiosis of black carbon tube and brackets in a polished chromium finish yielding an interesting contrast between the textile structure of the carbon tube and the metallic surface. Bracket and finial have become one evolving a strong accent to each side of the tube although being in line with the tube. The integral mechanism developed and patented by interstil allows extreme wide spans without intermediate brackets. The mechanism is based on an engineering principle in which a hardened string that runs inside the tube in an off-centre arrangement, is put under tension. The tension is applied by turning a screw hidden inside of the brackets allowing the pole to be adjusted for any curtain weight until its perfectly straight.
