Bathtub

repaBAD GmbH

The free-standing Ovalis bathtub is more of a sculpture rather than just a tub. Unlike conventional tubs, this one does not stand on the floor but appears to float – its organic body is both elegant and light. This is made possible by the symmetrically arranged frame element which holds the tub body as precisely as a hand. This element also houses all of the key technical components. The interaction between the soft organic form of the tub and the contrasting, clearly designed and technical frame element creates tension and the sense of lightness that dominates the innovative appearance and results in a whole new bathing experience.
