Food storage utensils

p0 (project zero, pio) is a storage and shopping solution for food that aims to greatly reduce food consumption emissions by helping the user switch to and maintain a plant-based diet, reduce the amount of wasted food, and inspire others to do the same. The combination of the ceramic body and textile lining helps us gain a deeper appreciation of food, and to become more aware of how much food we need. As well as being a practical and attractive utensil, this is a symbol of change, of becoming a little bit more human.

JURY STATEMENT

P0 raises awareness of sustainable food consumption in a very attractive and well-designed way. The design will appeal to early adopters who will become ambassadors for this product. The whole process is well thought-out and the combination of the different materials is aesthetically pleasing and endorses the entire concept. The possibility of customization makes it even more personal and inspires others to change their food consumption habits.

WINNER STATEMENT

It is a great honor and a huge encouragement to receive an iF DESIGN TALENT AWARD. I'd like to thank Jana Koestler for developing and making the textiles and Stoneflower3d as well as Edith Plattner for their help with the ceramic part.
