There's very little ink on the new packaging for the Tangram pocket knife – just the product name and logo on the front of an elegantly tie-sealed corrugated cardboard package. Instead, the designers have created a pleasant surprise as the package opens to reveal a cut-out design, made entirely without glues or plastic. The box represents the kind of creative cutting that this knife is capable of. It also makes an environmental statement, as the package is made of recycled and recyclable cardboard, and is very light to transport. The irony, considering how easily recyclable the materials, is that this is one package you won't want to throw away.

We were wowed by the creative use of low-cost corrugated cardboard to create a premium and sustainable experience with a nice unboxing ritual that evokes curiosity. The pack both displays and protects, with smart cardboard engineering forming the protective inside from just one foldable die-cut. The minimalistic use of print adds a special touch.
