PA!GO

Educational AI camera toy

Panasonic Corporation

PA!GO is an innovation project from Panasonic that uses Google's Coral products to design and develop an educational and entertaining product for kids, encouraging them to explore, play and learn. Nowadays, young children learn how to unlock mobile devices before they can even tie their shoes. We need to make sure that technology nurtures rather than subsumes a child’s imagination and curiosity. So, instead of reducing children’s exposure to technology, Panasonic asked how they might use it to encourage them to spend more time outside and learn about the world around them.

iF Gold Statement

The PA!GO concept motivates children to explore real-world objects in a playful way, to get children outside moving and interacting with the natural world around them. The concept has a child-friendly visual language and an intuitive functional design. PA!GO elegantly addresses a child's natural curiosity and desire to discover.
