Pano Zero Client Computer

Server-based corporate computer

Pano is a server-based corporate computer. Called a Zero Client, it is a tiny hardware-only device, containing no software, CPU, memory, or moving parts. The user plugs in a keyboard, display and mouse into Pano, and then plugs into the network. Pano consumes 3% of the energy of a PC, uses 4% of the material to make it; and is 100 times smaller. Because it is a “zero client”, we wanted it to be a minimal “zero design” - a 90 mm x 50 mm EN-chrome plated zinc box. Its mirror finish blends into its surroundings, diminishing its presence. Pano’s austere form, density, tiny size, and reflective surfaces gives Pano a transcendent quality.
