Panorama Lounge
Business class lounge, Zurich airport
In 2009, Swissport International decided to refurbish its business lounge. Despite the panoramic view, the previous lounge did not satisfy in all aspects. RAUM B PROPOSED FOUR STEPS: 1. Upgrade the entrance through representative bar counter and branding wall 2. Create individual zones 3. Clearly allocate the different functions 4. Create material and color concept for harmonious ambience A key point was the creation of smaller room areas without blocking the panoramic view; the new sections have therefore only been positioned in the center of the room. In order to give the airy space a homely atmosphere, dark stained oak has been used.
