Paper Table

Dinning Table

This concept originates in the Taiwanese local culture. At local restaurants they often use plastic bags as a replacement of tablecloth to cover the tables. After the meal the top bag is folded and thrown away. No wiping or extra cleaning is necessary. Therefore, I transferred this idea and designed a dinning table called Paper Table. This is a table, where a pile of waterproof paper napkin and other metal parts are installed on top. After usage the paper napkin can be torn off and another clean napkin is available for the next customer. No more ugly plastic bags! The changeable paper and metal containers can be suited for every restaurant style. The jury: smart and practical design.
