ParkUp

Park conversion concept

Taiwan Design Center

ParkUp is a placemaking project that aims to provide creative solutions to solve visible or invisible urban issues resulting from rapid, uncontrolled development. ParkUp’s primary objective is to revitalize idle city spaces and transform them into locally-adapted open spaces. The project identifies parcels less than 165 m² and installs a self-devised modular assembling system. ParkUp accomplishes three goals: creating a fitness-oriented community space, a children’s playground and a multifunctional design pavilion. Little by little, ParkUp is making the city a better place that we can all share.
