House Interior Renovation

This renovation project aims to preserve the history of the building and recreate the nostalgia of the owner’s old Taiwanese-Japanese- styled home. Meticulous care is put in to restore the house: vintage materials are sought out, and traditional methods are used for the cabinetry. Additionally, every piece of furniture in the house is a family heirloom, giving the home an authentic feel. Along the edge of the central skylight, traces of prior efforts of renovation can be seen, commemorating past stories. Modern touches are added to bring freshness and liveliness to the home, crafting a residence where Past, Present and Future coincide.
