Book

Philips Design

“past tense, future sense” has been created in honor of 80 years of design at Philips. The book chronicles the rich history of design at Philips, yet is more than just an act of celebration by one particular company. Designers, design professionals, managers, education institutions, Philips employees, media personnel and many others will undoubtedly appreciate its value as a reflection on eight remarkable decades, a reference source and above all, an interesting and engaging read. Producing the book was quite an undertaking. The book consists of more than 80 separate stories, approximately 1,300 images and a total of 808 pages.
