Patient Flow is an interactive visualization that can help consultants and customers explain and understand current trajectories or flow of patients within a given hospital layout. It uses workflow-timing data to render an abstract map of the reception area, preparation rooms and scanning rooms. With an extensive variety of controls the user is able to simulate and test hospital layouts on patient volume, and to scan processes. A three-dimensional view of the hospital makes it easier to capture the data, also offering the ability to show the real hospital layout instead of the abstract layout.
