Patient Safety

This project was dedicated to developing new communication and information systems in the area of medical treatment to support patients in taking their medicine and make it easier for them to understand the possible side effects. A key objective was to provide patients with better information and reinforce their general trust in doctors. The system includes a medical card system with information that goes beyond the package insert, an individually tailored medicine package to prevent incorrect sorting of medicine and an electronic pen to remind the patient visually and acoustically when he has to take his medicine.
