Double-wall drinking glasses

BODUM AG Bodum Design Group

Double-wall glasses have two advantages compared to standard single-wall glasses: You can hold hot drinks without a handle and condensation does not form with cold beverages. Hot drinks retain their heat longer and cold drinks remain colder than with single-wall glasses. There are many round tumblers but none is as rounded as Pavina. The outer contour is strongly under-cut. If this were done with a single-wall glass it would be difficult to drink from but with a double-wall tumbler this only brings benefits. But it is these very features that lend the glass its character. One can imagine that whoever invented stemmed glasses was inspired by the concept of allowing the wine to "float", in the air. These double-walled drinking glasses use an alternative approach – but still allow the drink to float.
