Electron Beam Melting Machine

The EBM 30S (Electron Beam Melting) is an electron beam system for additive and industrial manufacturing of small intricate metal components using the powder bed process. It represents a new generation of machines from the pro-beam Group. Two functional units form the core of the system. A Process unit/vacuum chamber B Supply unit/powercube. The melting process takes place in the vacuum chamber. This prevents material interference by atmospheric gases – a prerequisite of the electron beam process. Using this process, components can be manufactured quickly and reproduced economically. The design reflects this high-precision, high-tech process.
