Recent decades have seen an increase in pet ownership all over the world. At the same time, awareness of animal protection and rescue has increased. However, many problems remain in the existing rescue process, including uneven distribution of rescue units, improper means of transportation, lack of equipment, and poor efficiency. PET-AMB is, as the name suggests, an ambulance for pets. It is conceived to work in conjunction with animal protection services and a veterinary clinic. The nearest PET-AMB can be dispatched immediately after a rescue notification is received. Because of its compact size it can navigate traffic easily.
The proposal is well presented and is a very interesting solution for animal rescue. It allows injured animals to be picked up on the street, given first aid and taken to a veterinary clinic for further treatment and recovery.WINNER STATEMENT
