After the huge success of the Café Gourmet over the past 15 years, extensive work has been implemented to maintain and at the same time refresh the unique characteristics of this product. The aim of the Philips Aluminium Café Gourmet project was to extend the past 15 years success of the Café Gourmet into the future. Ultimate care for every detail is to bring consumer satisfaction to a new dimension. Comfort and ease of use have been the main motives in re-designing the product. Special attention was given to improve ergonomics and facilitate cleaning in comparison to the original coffee maker designed 15 years ago. Due to the unique Boil & Brew system integrated in the product, truly superior-tasting coffee can be made. Hereby boiled water flows gently over the coffee grounds to ensure the richest, fullest flavor and aroma.
