Piatta is a single-stone flat basin countertop which conducts water from taps to drains. It has double functionality, working as a basin and a countertop, and has obtained a Spanish patent. Piatta has a contemporary aesthetic and an emotional appeal in the way it permits a more natural flow of water. The environmental benefits include the use of a natural material and considerable water saving compared to a conventional washbasin. Piatta rethinks the idea of the concave sink, establishing a more rational relationship between human beings and water.
