Compass

The PROVER PIUS is a compass for young users like school kids and students. Other than classical compasses this product is completely made of plastic, except for the needle. The chosen material and the target consumer group lead to a new design approach: highly functional and yet emotional through complex shapes and odd angles. Instead of the conventional pencil tip PIUS has a universal holder for all kinds of pens up to 15 mm diameter. The needle can be swivelled into a safe parking position. PIUS has an integrated stencil for small circles (2–10 mm), which usually are difficult to draw with a compass.
