Approaching the hotel as a portal and starting interface for travelers to learn about and engage with a country’s culture, this hotel has transformed its rooms into an inhabitable design museum, in which local designers can showcase their furnishing products. Guests can take advantage of their stay to experience and learn about local design in a variety of ways – from a self-curated experience, in-room curated experiments, kits to research artifacts, and prototypes embedded in different touch-points to evoke interactions between guests and designers. This hotel is a living design lab and incubator.
