Play & Lighting

Toy and Lantern

Play & Lighting is a tool for children in the Third World. You can stick it in the opening of a plastic bottle instead of the cap. Power is generated when you turn or shake P&L. It is a toy that generates light at night when you hold the handle and turn it around in any direction. P&L is designed in the colors children like and features a soft shape. When you turn it for a minute, it will generate light for about 10 minutes. It has a blink mode and a lighting mode. The blink mode is for using P&L as a toy and the lighting mode is for use as a lantern.

JURY STATEMENT

Great, playful design, which can not only be found in the Third World.

WINNER STATEMENT

It's a great honor for me to receive the iF STUDENT DESIGN AWARD 2016. I'm very happy to have achieved this and I will continue to be creative and produce valuable designs. Thank you!
