The Canvas Chair was designed as an assembled chair for indoor and outdoor use. Indoors, it is a relaxing chair for the living room or lounge room, Outdoors, it is used as a chair for relaxing on a terrace, balcony, cottage, camping, or other natural setting. The unprecedented assembled structure makes it possible to easily transport the chair outdoors while providing the comfort and design of a living room chair. Another reason for the assembly is to reduce CO2 emissions from transportation. All production is done in Japan. This is to preserve the skills of Japanese woodworkers and sewers and to pass them on to the next generation.
