The iconic silhouette of PlayStation®4 is deceptively simple: a monolithic body comprised of four blocks, with feature elements placed in the spaces between the blocks so as not to distract from the beautiful straight lines and flat surfaces. Multiple textures not only add contrast to the reserved color palette, but also relay a sense of quality and luxury. Style and design are intuitive and friendly as well: the entire body is slanted 60° to allow for easy access to media and connectivity ports, and its user interface utilizes simple graphics and spacious transitions that offer a glimpse into the power under the hood.
