Healthcare communication application

Asan Medical center

Interpreters are in high demand at hospitals and clinics but often not readily available to help non-native-speaker patients. This app solves the problem with images and charts to facilitate communication between patients and medical staff when no interpreter is available. The application covers all possible situations and procedures, from hospital admission to discharge. Communication is easy and intuitive: patients simply point to app images depicting body parts to indicate where they are experiencing difficulty. Other charts help them express more specific symptoms or what they might need.
