Bone anchored hearing aid
Ponto Pro Power a fully digital bone anchored hearing aid. Sound is transformed into vibration and transmitted directly via an implant through the skull to the inner ear, bypassing any problems in the outer and / or middle ear. The design challenge was to make a slim, discrete device with a human and positive expression. The organic shape with stringent edges has a clear visual profile and harmonizes with surrounding ear and hair. The circular push button is easy to use and also acts as graphical element with possibility to adapt to different styles by stickers, e.g. for children. The four semi-shiny colors reflect and suit different hair colors.
