Porsche DNA Microsite

Dr. Ing. h.c.F. Porsche AG

The Porsche DNA Microsite is part of the “Porsche DNA” campaign. The first thing the user sees is the history of the Porsche brand, as well as the vehicles’ conformity with the brand values. The user then travels through Porsche’s history “in space,” with a rotating helix serving as a guide. The challenge here was to portray the content in a simple and entertaining way, while developing an interface that offered multiple access points via selective and explorative elements. In the “DNA Test” the user can discover which of the “Porsche genes” are strongest in his or her own personal makeup. The user then gets a rated list of the vehicles that have most in common with his or her own individual preferences. The task here was to develop an interface that placed the user’s actions and the features of the Porsche DNA in the same visual and logical context, while inviting the user to check out individual product features.
