Thermal power station

The Nishi-Nagoya Thermal Power Station, an environmentally friendly multi-shaft combined-cycle power plant, comprising three gas turbines and one steam turbine, has achieved the world's highest thermal efficiency of 63.08%, thereby helping to reduce annual carbon emissions by 1.4 million tons. We redesigned its man-machine system model from the viewpoint of machine layout and signage systems, applying design-based solutions seldom used in the field of infrastructure. Our aim was to not only eliminate human errors but also create an environment that evokes admiration, expectation, and pride in state-of-the-art facilities.
