PowerShot E1

Camera packaging

CANON Inc.

The PowerShot E1 is oriented as a camera that women can grab on their way out and use casually on a daily basis. This concept was kept in mind when designing the package. To have women identify with the PowerShot E1, the package was designed to give a warm, relaxed impression. Ingenuity was also used to make the inside of the box appear simple and clean when it is first opened, by combining the manuals together and by using the same color for the backing paper. The box was also made 48% smaller than regular digital camera boxes, and also enables for environmental-consciousness through resource saving and reduction of CO2 emissions.
