The PowerShot G3 X comes equipped with a 1.0-type large CMOS sensor and a 25 x optical (24 to 600 mm equivalent / 35 mm conversion) zoom lens and is the first digital camera with an integrated lens. It features a large, easy-to-hold grip that supports superzoom and its dial and button layout are easily operated while still poised for shooting. Using the 180° tilt LCD or the optional mobile LCD viewfinder, it provides a high degree of freedom in photography style. A wide variety of photography applications are supported by its dust and water resistant design.
