Prêmio TIM de Música 2005 – Baden Powell

Image design for the 2005 TIM Music Awards

TIM Brasil initiated the TIM Music Awards. Tátil Design has been working on the Awards’ graphic conception since 2003. Our challenge in 2005 was to further consolidate the prestige of the Awards by creating a graphic language that could measure up to one of the world’s greatest guitar players: Baden Powell. Sinuous lines illustrate the career of the Brazilian musician, who broke frontiers through his art. Straight lines allude to the strings of Baden Powell’s guitar. Free lines – as if being shaped by the wind – reveal the creative process of the composer who believed that “music is in the air”. The lines are simple but sophisticated, just like Baden’s work.
