Weingut PRINZ VON HESSEN
According to Gault & Millau, the Prinz von Hessen XO is “Germany’s best brandy”. After spending 25 years in a wooden barrel, the brandy that emerges has a velvety, mild taste that is a delight to the palates of novices and connoisseurs alike. The label bucks the trend towards reduction, highlighting the intrinsic value of the product, and translating the traditional legacy of this aristocratic family to a contemporary world of design. In addition to a modern interpretation of the family crest, the label takes up the idea of a playing card. The bottle, label, and banderole together give rise to a form that more than does justice to the excellent contents.
