Anti-nipping protection

Safety with a difference: almost everyone knows the danger to get one’s fingers caught in a door crack, the so-called secondary closing edge. The invisible danger of swing doors lurks in the secondary closing edge. The innovative anti-nipping protection ProFin-S of glass swing doors prevents these serious squashing injuries. The cleverer gives in: the solution consists in mounting one part of the door leaf in the basic fitting via an additional pivot. On resistance, this 50 mm wide glass bar swerves into the opposite direction. Activation of the anti-nipping protection is automatically followed by the reset of the turned part.
