Conciseness through authenticity The annual report avails itself of this approach in a highly personal manner. In an 18-page introduction it portrays nine employees in full-page photographs, including familiar faces from the screen, as well as others working backstage. Their statements mark the prelude to the annual report. The financial statements themselves are each presented in the context of individual sectors on fold-out charts and illustrated by photographs of different TV productions. These provide a glimpse behind the scenes and through their aesthetic, clearly-structured appearance communicate the friendly and sophisticated image of the broadcaster.
