GoogleProject VOICE is an assistive communication app leveraging Google's AI model Gemini to empower individuals with severe speech impairment (ALS, SMA, etc.) to communicate freely. It uses LLM-based predictive text, tailored to individual user profiles, to drastically reduce input effort. The design prioritizes universal accessibility by integrating seamlessly with eye-tracking, mouse, and switch controls. This human-centric approach transforms high-friction communication into a natural, personal experience, embodying inclusive design and Al's potential for social good.
