music video clip

The main challenge involved in producing the video clip for a new song by “Fury in the Slaughterhouse“ was to master the technical and visual requirements of doing a 360° digital projection in a domed arena. In contrast to the usual 4:3 format, this meant realizing a constant stream of video images for viewers seated under the dome. Depending on his or her seat and viewing angle, the viewer is exposed to an ever-changing visual scenery (and sensory input). For example, the track “Protection“ deals with the ambiguity between the essential human desire for protection and the overriding sense of helplessness prevalent in modern society. This basic mood is visualized and played upon in the video projection of typical big city scenes, consciously emphasizing the surreal atmosphere and scurrility inherent in urban life.
