The Asus PW 201 is a high-end 20 wide-screen LCD monitor. It is designed as a modern media display for the digital home context. The contrasting gesture of a black panel manipulated by a silver robotic arm is intentionally put together to tell the same story: the most light and adept solution for a user-friendly wide-screen display. A precise parallelogram mechanism hidden inside the arm allows for easy directional adjustment of height, angle and rotation. The black panel is reduced to a simple frame, directing the users full attention to the most important thing: the displayed image. All additional controls and buttons are realized through touch sensor technology to further emphasize this concept.
