Details make Radial, the new system for interiors designed by Foster & Partners, a versatile luminaire with a minimalist contemporary design. The two versions suspended and wall-mounted are made of die-cast aluminium. The asymmetrical diffuser is made of superpure aluminium, while the soda-lime glass in the indirect/direct-light version also has a diffusing bottom section. Special attention to technical details and the use of metal-halide, halogen and compact fluorescent lamps ensure a very high light output and low management costs.
