JURY STATEMENT

As of 16 November 2017, 58 large trucks of essential material like family kits, dry rations, tarpaulins, blankets, utensils, toiletries etc. have been sent to flood-affected areas of Assam, Manipur, Bihar, Odisha, West Bengal, Rajasthan, Gujarat and Uttarakhand. The situation there was alarming and millions of people are affected by the devastation. Over 23,000 families were supported, but 75,000 families or 500,000 people still need help! Considering the amount of help needed and the severity of the situation, it is obvious that all the criteria of the iF SOCIAL IMPACT PRIZE were met.
