Rail Kitchen Faucet

Faucet

Most menues in Asia include some kind of soup. To cook soup, you have to pour water into a pot and move it from the sink to a gas stove or take water from another container and pour it into the pot. The pierced rail in the sink with a movable substation was designed to avoid this inconvenience. Thanks to the slidable substation, the facet can be moved to the gas stove and thus the water can be poured directly into the pot.

JURY STATEMENT

This idea is so convincing because it links the most frequented parts in the kitchen where you need to have water – the sink and the stove. Without creating a new faucet device, it provides water in a very flexible way to all positions of your counter top, optimizing the food preparation process.

WINNER STATEMENT

I'm really glad to win this prize. Because this is the first time I win a prize in an international design competition. If I designed just by my self without a team, I couldn't win an international prize. Thanks to teamwork, I can win a prize. Sometimes, we have some trouble… haha :-) I think teamwork can make better result than doing it myself can.
