Bike Support

The Razor bike carrier is designed to meet an existing demand. The vast majority of bicycle stands is fixed to the floor and cannot be transported to special events that demand an easy-to-use, handy and mobile system. Razor’s formal configuration is based on the formal language of street furniture in Curitiba, Brazil. Combined with soft curves and sturdy assembly, its rotatable locks and aluminum body convey to the user a sense of security.

JURY STATEMENT

Razor mobile-bike-parking system is designed and executed in a very pure, clean, and unobtrusive way without disturbing public places. Sense and function are obvious. A very good solution for existing problems with a growing demand worldwide. A very good example of less-is-more without reducing quality aspects of the product. An exemplary public/urban furniture for individual transportation structures.

WINNER STATEMENT

For us it is a great joy to be one of the winners of the iF STUDENT DESIGN AWARD 2015. It’s the only Brazilian project that has been selected, so for us it is a great honor to represent our country, and the Federal University of Paraná. Being awarded by iF is a guarantee that our design is a really good design! Thank you all for believing in our work!
