The Reading Cathedral—The student campus library will also be a reading life center shared with local residents, a place where they can look forward to a world of inspiration, insights, creativity, and information, where they can exchange and share knowledge and ideas. With a limited budget, the designers look forward to restoring intimacy between people and words and respect for the transmission of knowledge through the transformation of space. They removed the original heavy makeup and discovered that the interior was delicate and beautiful. Introducing natural light, they created a space bathed in sunlight—a peaceful and spacious cathedral of knowledge.
