Rebranding Busan Museum of Contemporary Art

Public Museum Brand Identity

Busan MoCA’s reimagined identity deepens the museum’s connection to its environment, community, and broader cultural landscape. Rooted in a generative concept inspired by ecological cycles, the identity transcends static branding to embody a flexible system fostering inclusivity and diversity. The circular form(O) serves as a bridging element, creating a unified yet versatile structure reflecting the museum’s values of nature, new media, and human. Expanding as a future-oriented, open-ended question, this identity invites visitors into a synesthetic reflection on collective relationships within art, nature, and community.
