Outside elevator

Yuanlin branch, Local Tax Bureau, Changhua County

The project aims to break away from the symmetry and sternness of typical government buildings by making the elevator stand out as a focal point and suggest openness at the ground level. The designers aimed to give the elevator added value and make it an iconic urban object. As a tower-shaped structure, it redefines the urban skyline; the lighting design illuminates the front plaza in the evening, and the red color and eccentric style make it a visual focal point for visitors.
