Reel RE001

Deck-mounted progressive washbasin mixer

REEL is a collection of taps and mixers designed by Studio Adolini: its basic concept consists of the reduction of functions to the essentials. In the flagship product of the collection - basin mixer RE001 - the mixer handle is inspired by the archetypal shape of the circle and is modeled with a continuous vertical milling in the grip. Thanks to an innovative hydroprogressive cartridge, the water flows from bottom to top without interruptions: a simple 90° turning movement of the handle opens the flow from cold to hot water, thus preventing the hot water waste typical of traditional mixers.
