REFLEKTOR2 deals with the issue of “contact” – 192 pages presenting the students’ overwhelming creativity in the Department of Design at Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts. Readers are encouraged to page through it by the open binding. Since the imprint goes round the book envelope, users may also place it in the shelf the other way round. This playful haptic quality is enhanced by the use of gray pasteboard and different types of paper. Several inspiring interviews offer insights into current topics of contemporary art and design. An enclosed DVD, additionally presenting some films, turns this volume into a small masterpiece.
